Do I send them out a Thank You card for now, and then send them an official one (with our picture and everything) later on??? What do I do?
Also, they sent us a check with the response, is it tacky to cash it right away? Or should I wait until the wedding????

I sent a thank you card right away & will also send them an official one.
Its ok to cash them ahead of time- as long as you send the thank you right away

i would cash it so that their balance is not left hanging for a month and then send them a thank you right away. follow up w/ the picture thank you later on.

Anyone who sent a gift more than 3 weeks before the wedding got a thank you card right away. For those within 3 weeks or after the wedding, are getting a thank you card this week.

we are cashing them before hand just because i know how annoying it can be when checks go uncashed for forever...
but that being said...send the thank you right away. and i would follow up with the 'official' thank you when u have it after the wedding.

I sent thank yous as soon as i got the gifts. If you are doing photo thank yous later on, it is okay to send them another. And its fine to cash the check now.
