Pet Owners....Day Of your wedding what r u doing with them?
Ok I have a dog and I was just thinking of what I am going to do with him during our wedding and especially we are staying in the hotel the night before so thurs-sat morning we wont be home. Everyone I know that i trust to watch him wil be at my wedding and staying at the hotel. And he's never been to the kennel and Im not bringing him there (i know im crazy he's like my baby he's spoiled)

I feel you girl!!! Thats exactly how I feel about my dog. I don't trust him with noooo body!! Except my parents and my future in laws!!! Go to google, and search for dog sitter. Thats what I am doing. I am gonna have my dog at the ceremony. But then I am gonna try to get a dog sitter, that usually takes him either to your house or their house...

I was totally thinking the same thing the other day. Could you possibly get a hotel that allows dogs? I definitely wouldn't put it in a kennel.. I would never do that to my dog either. Is your RH very far from where you live? There isn't anyone that can go back home during the day?

I have the same problem :( Plus my dog is 'kennel aggressive' even though he is only 6.5 pounds. Basically this means he will bar his teeth and try to bite anyone who puts him in a cage without sedatives. I think I am going to hire a dog sitter to stay at my house and watch him-probably a high school student. I may also ask my neighbor to come in and feed him, walk him and play with him but I am afraid he will be too lonely.

My dog isnt good around people he doesnt know. My best friend went to let him out while I had my uncles Wake 2 weeks ago and he bit her. ok so its not funny that he bit her but hes just a pain and I dont even think a dog sitter would work bc he'd freak out. Ugh I dont know what to do. I live like 35 min from my RH. and the hotel is about 20 min.
Im so frustrated over this. Even if he could stay at the hotel i think he would bark the whole time were gone bc he doesnt know where he is. UGH.

I actually just figured this out myself, I am having one of my bridesmaids' sister come and stay over the house the day of and into the next day since my whole family is staying at a hotel near the RH. So the dogs (my dog and my parents' dog, they are best friends haha) will stay in my mom's house - I couldn't see putting them in a kennel and/or leaving them with a stranger - and I'll give my friend's sister (who I know and trust) lots of food, movies, and money, haha, to make it worth her stay.

Good question. I don't think my mom is staying over though but it's still going to be a long day that no one is home with him.
I'm gonna be sad that i'm leaving him all day

Me too! And my Mom said I cant bring him bc nobody is going to want to bring him home and he's just too much work. He's not the easiest dog lol

I will more than likely have my dog at my house that day so I can take pictures with her (my precious puppy will be all dressed up to match me!! haha crazy dog owner much?). I may ask the young girl or mother across the street if she can peek in on her maybe once during the evening and once the next morning, just to change the water and wee wee pads.

this is so funny u are posting this cuz my mom was just asking what we are gonna be doing with crazy dog the day of. she said 'i dont want him at my house!!' soooo i think a kennel might be in order lol

I am in the same situation!!! I think FH will stay at the hotel the night(friday) before. I will get ready at home buttttt we will gone until sunday morning. Everyone who has babysat them will be at the wedding. I see weeweepads in my future.lol I dont want them at a kennel.

lol we jus had this conversation the other night....my church doesn't let us bring animals, so mine and FHs dogs cant be in the ceremony (thank God cuz he has a big annoying slobbering bulldog that smells LOL)
sooooooooo im dressing my dog in a dress the same color as my BMs and ill take a few pics w/her...but then she is going to her doggy day care place for the night that she goes to when we're on vaca...she is good there
and FH is gonna put his bulldog in a tux supposedly...i dont see it happening...hes a beast

my wedding is at night for the 2 cats...we'll prob just fill up their bowl and they do their own thing...the dog...my mom will probably have to feed her before we leave and hope for the best lol...she wont be getting home til 1:30
