Peterson sentencing to be announced at 4:30

The jury has reached a verdict and it will be announced at 4:30. So will he get life in jail or death? What punishment would you like to see?

I would like to see him suffer..so I guess life in jail. Dying is the easy way out, but definitely deserved. Too bad he couldn't have both...a few years in prison and than death..

Personally I feel that he should suffer the way Lacy did.... so cut both his heads off.

i dont belive in the death sentance anymore...

imo, what good does it REALLLLY do? the ppl killed are already dead, and not coming back. Let them rot in jail.... i find it twisted that its illegal to kill.. then we/society/courts go and do it... two wrongs dont make a right. i know alot of ppl say about scott 'fry the f-cker' .. please dont flame me for having my opinion.

I hate peterson and hope that one day he stands before God and has to account for his actions... but I would not put him to death.

Yes.. he is a monster.
Yes.. he has no social redeeming value.

But life in prison is a far more horrible punishment than death (basically they'll put him to sleep.)

Let him think about the horrible things he did to his wife and son for the rest of his life.

Let him never know freedom again.

hmmm...yeah - not to mention the A$$ whoopin' the nice inmates would give him!!

Although the state would probably put him in 'protective' custody!!

This is going to sound horrible, but I vote death so his family & friends who are whining & moaning about what a wonderful man he is can suffer him being put to death ...

I agree 100%. Death penalty is too easy for him. Let him suffer in jail everyday for the rest of his miserable life. Hopefully he'll becomes someone's boy toy!

I don't think getting death is the easy way out. What would you think/feel if you knew your days were numbered - how could you walk down the hall - lay down and know you are done...forever - you will never see your family again - as they sit there and watch you die. What you do have left of your life you spend in jail - not making a damn thing of yourself. What would be your last meal. Would the torture of the memories of killing someone be enough to drive you crazy now that you know you will die too.

If death was the 'easy' way out - Murderers wouldn't continuously appeal - they would just take it. No one wants to die - no matter what you have ahead of you.
