Do you prefer to conduct business via phone or email?
I prefer email, but sometimes I feel so guilty about it.

Re: Phone or Email?
I prefer email. I dont know why. To me, its easier! I am planning a bbq for next weekend. Instead of making all those calls, I hit address book, and send.

I'm there w/ you Scott. I hate talking on the phone, just easier to get out what you want in an email & faster too.

Re: Phone or Email?
I prefer Phone!!! Sometimes our writing can be miscontrued. Emails can cause a miscommunication depending on words used, or if letters are in caps, etc.. I like my business and my intentions to be clear.

I hate the phone. If it's work related, I feel like I always get tongue-tied and I sound like a moron. I prefer e-mail.

I always opt for e-mail. A lot of people just don't answer their phones and I hate playing phone tag about business.

Re: Phone or Email?
I prefer email, b/c I like to have written evidence of the exchange.
Although, our new phone system as a 'record call' option, but I haven't used it yet.
I also think I can sound more authoritative in email, which I sometimes need to be.
Interstingly though, I usually call my vendors ( work & personal) b/c I want an answer immediately, but somene who wants something from me, I usually email.

Re: Phone or Email?
email is easier - i feel like people can respond when they are able to. with the phone its hard to catch people and when you do, i feel like they have to stop whatever they are doing.
email is just faster, for me

email--not only do I dislike talking on the phone, but with email you have a written copy of your business transactions.

Re: Phone or Email?
I dont like talking on the phoe either but I find that there could be a lot of room for error with email. Phone conversations followed by email confirmations or regular mailings would be a good idea.
