I was thinking about having a photobooth at my wedding instead of favors.... The guest would take fun pictures and it would have mine and FI names and wedding date at the bottom... 2 copies would print out one for them and one to put into our sign in book so that they can sign next to it... What do u think of that idea?? do u think people will appreciate that as a favor or am i better off with some type of other keepsake ?

Re: Photo booth
I was considering doing this myself. I feel like you'll probable spend more on favors in the long run and this is more fun!

Re: Photo booth
hey ladies...just got this FM...although perhaps some of you did too
Hi, I'm Mike from partybooths! If you decide on a photo booth here is some info: This is a basic package. A Classic booth (smaller version fits 4 people) comes with. 3 hrs of operation time Unlimited sessions during rental time On site operator A DVD with all images you can print from A 12 month password protected web posting Color or B/W images printed on site of each session A title bar on each print with your names and/or your monogram $895.00 There is no set up or delivery charges, and the 3 hrs is operational time We setup and tear down on our time not yours
Additional time can be added, at $100.00 an hour, but if you know you will need 5 hours or more the best deal is the 6 hour rental ($1045) because it works out to be less per hour. You can also add the photo guest book or scrapbook option for $345.00, it includes double prints, black pages to glue the pics to, the book, glue sticks, silver and gold gel pens.
If you would like to see some of our other options go to www.partybooths.com Pricing is posted there too!

Re: Photo booth
i don't think it would if u only had it for the 3 hrs i would suggest that the attendant would ask people to come back and not allow a line i was afraid of that happening too but if i get it from like 730-1030 my wedding doesnt end till 1 so theres still plenty of time for dancing i gotta think about it a little more but i think its a fun idea

ANyone else get FM from vendors as a result of this thread? Kinda creepy that they do that...
I had vendors do the same thing when I said the word 'Italian'... I got honeymoon FM's! I wasn't even talking about honeymoons!

I got vendors sending me things for posting the word 'italian' on your 'Italian' post last week! lol
I was thinking of doing photo booth- most people throw out the favors after the party anyway unless it's something useful like a pretty corkscrew. The only thing I'm afraid of is that the quality of the photos will be a joke.

Re: Photo booth
The photobooth is actually my FH's designated special project for the wedding. He thought of the idea first, and I think it would be A LOT of fun! I know Francesca from Dazzling Affairs has a company she reccommends, I think she said it runs about 1800 (which includes the pic favors for the guests and a scarpbook for you with all the pics). I do think that guests would have A LOT of fun with this idea! it would be one of those things that would make your wedding a bit more unique. Oh, but we're still going to do regular favors in addition to the pictures.

Re: Photo booth
So since we were talking about this I mentioned it to FH and he poo-pooed the idea.
He's such a brat!
He thinks it shouldn't be the favor that it should be just be something extra if you want it, but we can;t afford to do a favor AND the photobooth

Re: Photo booth
NYC Photobooth gives you a lot, but the prices are higher. I LOVE the photobooth and wish i could afford it.
Also, if I were you I'd report the vendors to Client Services. they shouldn't be soliciting you based on posts unless they are on VHB
