If you had the opportunity to do a photo-booth at your weddding, would you do it? (Forget the cost factor)
I was always against this cause I felt like people would bombard the photo booth instead of dancing at the reception. What are your thoughts?

If cost wasn't a factor - sure. We decided to not spend the money on it because we wanted to spend in other areas, plus I'm not even sure where we would put it in our venue without getting in the way or just being completely out of eyesight where people would forget about it

That's how I feel. My sister went to a wedding one time that had a photo booth and she told me there was a line just waiting to take pics in the booth.

FH's friend had a photo-booth in his wedding and that was the favors as well, guests would take pics, they were supposed to get a copy for themselves and another copy was for the bride and groom, FH wanted to do it this way too but I'm not sure it's tacky (I mean, doing it as favors)

If money were no object, I probably would. I think people will dance no matter what, they can always go back to check the photobooth out.

I don't want one. I'll probably get disposable cameras for my tables. If I want photoboth pics I'll just go to the movies.

Our first kiss actually took place in a photo booth, so we absolutely had to have one for our wedding! Our guests get a CD of their pictures and even get to make their own mini music-video. If there's too much of a line, I'll just have the MC do it by table number.

No. I think it is cheesy. But, that is just my opinion. I don't want to offend anyone on here.

We couldn't afford one, so we are doing our own photo area with props.

It's not even the cost factor that's stopping us.... it's the size of our venue!!! wahhhhh

At 1st we (really me) wanted one but now I think it will take up a lot of space.
My daughter's birthday is 3 months later so I will probably do it there.

Even if we had the extra money we still wouldnt do it. I feel like even though its a fun idea, it takes away from the wedding.

I have seen photobooths at weddings before and I loved it... We are getting one for our wedding.
People will still dance no matter what.. only 2 people go in at a time so I don't think it would affect the party. If your interested I'm getting mine from Dynamic Entertainment. 516 799-0808 www.thepartyneverstops.com
Good luck deciding!

I am. Our photographer has one to add to your package. he is basically making one for us.. He sets up a backdrop of our choice.. has another photog taking the pics.. we get a dvd of all the pictures and he prints out copies for the guests to take ... I think its better than an actual photobooth because i dont think a big booth will look good in my rh. Its pricey but i think it is worth it , so much fun! It wont be there all night so it wont take away from the wedding.. I think it will be so awesome to look at the pictures !!
