Photo cube questions

Photo cube questions

Ladies, I will be doing a photo cube for our cards, but besides waiting to buy 8x10 frames on sale somewhere, do you have any suggestions on where else to purchase the frames so that they're not too expensive? I'd like to use a dark brown wood to go with how we're planning to decorate our new place.

Also, we will be doing our engagement/casual day photos with Duet in the spring - should I wait til I get those back to finish the cube (to include a pic from there)?

Maybe a place like Dollar Tree might be worth checking out. If you're planning on using them after though, you may want to wait until A.C. Moore has their Midnight Madness sales and get frames from them when everything is 25% off.

I bought frames from K-Mart. They were either 2 for $5 or 2 for $10. I don't remember.

Kmart works too! There's one in midtown.

Thanks everyone. Just don't want the photocube to turn out to be $100 or something!

Kohls always has really nice picture frames for 50% off... We've gotten a ton there in the past.

I got mine at Wal-Mart.....we paid about $5 in change for each, but they are subdivided into about 8 pictures per frame and the whole thing is 11'X14' because we have a TON of guests and wanted a slightly large frame.

I bought the picture frams at ac moore. I bought the ones that are just a plane wood with no paint on them, they were only 3 bucks, then i just painted them white myself with some white paint my dad had in the garage so they were cheap! Here's a pic of my photocube...more pics in my album.
