So yesterday, FH and I went to an appointment we had scheduled to meet up with a photographer (who is highly recommended on LIWeddings) and we were completely disappointed!!! We made an appointment for 1, the 'salesman' or whoever came to greet us at 1:30.. Basically let us know that they don't usually do Sunday weddings and then just passed us a pricing list.. I was expecting at least a presentation of the pricing (differences between packages).. maybe show us the work of who our photographer might be?? But.. nada! So disappointing.. but as Kristy says... 'Don't treat me as a bride, and I won't be booking'! LOL
Back to square 1..

Some of these vendors need to remember its one of our biggest day. Its very special, i need to feel comfortable.

I actually used a really good friend of mine who's just getting his bussniness started. He's awesome! He was able to capture exactly what I wanted!

This happened to me with the same photographer! My wedding is on Sunday and he gave me pricing and led me on to then tell me he doesnt work Sundays!

Did you book someone yet? We are using Angel Project. TJ is so great... so excited to use him. A friend actually recommended him and I saw people from HS in his albums!

I think the worst part of this is that they're trying to make you feel like you're anything less because your wedding is on a Sunday. Who in the wedding industry wouldn't work on a Sunday? If you don't already have them on your list, you could give Tony at ADA Photography a call. He gave me a really fantastic deal and definitely had no problem working for my Sunday wedding :P
