So yesterday, FH and I went to an appointment we had scheduled to meet up with a photographer (who is highly recommended on LIWeddings) and we were completely disappointed!!! We made an appointment for 1, the 'salesman' or whoever came to greet us at 1:30.. Basically let us know that they don't usually do Sunday weddings and then just passed us a pricing list.. I was expecting at least a presentation of the pricing (differences between packages).. maybe show us the work of who our photographer might be?? But.. nada! So disappointing.. but as Kristy says... 'Don't treat me as a bride, and I won't be booking'! LOL

I ended up booking with Lighthouse!!! FM'd those who requested info!! Good luck on your search ladies.. And always demand the respect us brides (and our money) deserve!
Congrats! That's what I always say - it's a lot of money you can at least be treated pretty nicely!

Be careful about what you write on here bc I had a vendor contact me yesterday. I am not sure if it was LIW who contacted them, as they told me, or simply them just perusing the site but they called me bc they felt I was bashing their company. I explained it was a difference of opinion bc I was simply stating my experience with them and then they started quoting my posts! Personally, I stood my ground bc I was not lying but simply telling about my experience and I had a third party read the post in question and they agreed. However, it has taught me that we need to be careful bc if what they said is true, then this site isn't really designed for what we all believe it is, or at least I did, a place for us to be able to talk about our upcoming wedding and experiences. I would like to have a well-rounded view of a vendor before I book but this may not be the place to get that overview of information. Be careful everyone!
