We will be doing a photo montage at the reception that will show our baby pictures and pictures of us now. Neither my DJ or photographer take responsibility to do this unless I pay the DJ extra which seems insane. How has anyone arranged this before? Also, has anyone done it themselves? I am considering buying a special program to do it but dont want to start a major project that in the end, may not work out

u can use power point and you can choose different themes plus you can add music into it!!

i did the slideshow myself but paid the DJ extra to play it. unfortunately, he had the screens and the equipment to play it.

Ok, I'm so excited. I just found a program and we tested it out. It is very user friendly and made a GREAT montage... it has options for different fades, picture duration, music, etc and all at a click of a button. This beats spending $400 to have them do it! We're doing it for the Rehearsal dinner - FH did the slideshow on his Mac in whatever the photo program is. It looks awesome and so professional!

our dj did it for us, i provided the pics and songs for him but he put it together. They have someone else who does this type of work for them so thats why its extra to pay the guy who is doing it. Although i dont remember an extra charge for this i think it was included when you add on the extra of plasmas
But you can definitely do it yourself, many girls have.

i have done things like that before for various things on powerpoint. My longest one was like 10min for a college senior night celebration and many other smaller ones for Christmas parties, birthdays etc. FM me with any questions I LOVE!!!! doing that type of stuff

the dj, but you have to add to your package the extra of plasmas so that you pay for. If your dj charges an extra amount on top of that just for the montage then you can do it yourself and just give the disk to the dj to play on the plasmas.

The DJ that I will most likely be using said that they charge an extra $200 for a 4 or 5 minute picture show ! So we are not sure if we will do it yet !

most dj's charge extra for it and if u have to pay for them to bring the plasmas why not just have them make it as well. .But thats just my opinon im so not a crafty person

We r doing it and our DJ is taking care of it. We need to give them the pics and the put it together and show on the plasmas we got.
