Photo Must Take List

I've been wondering about making this list. Do you really think the photographer will be willing and able to work off one of these? I was thinking maybe I should be the one holding the list and trying to get the top pics I want. So confused. I don't want to intrude too much on their work - I obviously like it since I chose them - but there are some shots that I absolutely love. I guess it's a matter of trying to find the right balance.

Are you having a wedding coordinator?

I am going to make a short list since I have a divorced family and its a bit confusing. I am going to try and not overwhelm them with a list but also trust their expertise.

I would suggest at least a short list. My aunt didn't have one and she is having me add certain pics to my day b/c of it.

HAVE A LIST, or a short one with preferences. a Big list will scare the photgrapher ( from what I have heard from mine) BUT..the weddings I went to when the bride was specific about what she wanted were the ones that got what they wanted. The last two weddins in our family the brides were not happy with the results because they didnttell the photgrapher enough. They are not going to remember what you tell them in the commotion of it all, so a list will help!

Ok you have al lmade me feel better about the list then. And you're right, I don't want to miss out on those poses that I have been holding on to forever now.

Make a list, but dont make it too long!! Discuss the list with your photographer before your wedding and it all should work out!!

I have saved about a dozen photos from the posts that have been on here before that I'm going to provide to my photographer the week before the wedding. I don't want to be too obsessive in case I alienate him!

I would DEFINATELY have a list... my best friend got married in June and didn't have one... needless to say, she has NOT ONE picture of either of her grandmothers, no table pictures and if you weren't at the wedding and saw her proofs, you would think there was NO DANCE FLOOR.... She actually complained to the company and got most of her money back because her proofs were horrible. I felt really bad for her.. I mean you can't replace them... the day is over......

I'm meeting with my photographer on friday.. I have a small list and some print outrs of pics I like...lets see what he saids

that happened with my sister. she doesn't have a picture with me and our other sister or our grandmother. she doesn't have a pic with each bm
