asked me for what photos I want taken. I know that if we want special pictures taken we have to tell them, but they should know to take other pictures right?

Don't assume anything. I have a friend who got her proofs back and there was ONE photo of her and her sister. Her sister was her MOH.

yeah i would definately not assume that they know what 'traditional' pics mean if you were planning on saying something like that. especially if there are certain people you want to be sure to have pics of, then i would tell him that!

Take the time to find some pics that you like on- line from weddings. There's a post somewhere on this sight. Everybody has different opinions. I gave my photographer pics that I found that I liked, and am really happy I did.
