photographer help!!

so I have been looking around for different photographers and now im stuck....im starting to get nervous bc this is really one of the most important things to me. i want to be able to look back at my pictures and remember my special day

does anyone have good recommendations and if so could you let me know who you used, what kind of package you got and about how much it was

thanks again to all you brides!!! you are all such a great help and i really appreciate it!!!!

I recommend George from Right Angle his work is amazing!!!

I went with him for video and photog and it is going to cost around $4,500 we opted for the DIY package which gives us all proofs, and high res cd with all pics. After the wedding when we have more $$$$ we will have him make our album FM me for anymore info

I recommend Bob from Velvet, Chuck at Artisan, and John (I think that's his name) from Time Xpressions.

We looked at packages with a digital album, 2 parent albums, a portrait, 5x7s for bridal party, thank you notes, and the proofs, and they were all over $4K. There were some differences for a similar price (give or take a couple hundred). Some had a lighting assistant or 2 photogs, some did digital parent albums, some had more images in our album than others, and not all of them included an engagement session so you'd have to speak with them individually about your customized package but those are the options that we were looking at.

i am using Thomas Paul. Photography (2 photographers) was 3800. This was w/ digital album , thank yous, a few other pics, e-pics, parent albums. I also got my video through him

I used Hal Wolin from T and T Studios. 2 photographers for $1500, all your proofs in a leather binder and on cd. He is so awesome to work with and really nice. Check my album for a few pro pics. here is the link to his website:

I am using Duet also!!! I couldn't be happier..they did a phenominal job on both my Engagement Photos and my Wedding proofs !!! I defiantely recommend them! They give you so much for your money!

We used Michael Rosengard (North Island Photography)...his photos are beautiful and he is so laid back and easy to talk to and work with...his photos are photojournalistic so they really show the emotions in the pictures!

We are using marcophotoinc.com. Girl I work with has been a friend of the family for years, her son is dating Marco's daughter. We got a discount, but his basic digital photo packages start at about $3,000.

I liked his payment plan also. I paid two thirds of it before the wedding, and after the wedding we pay the last part when we do the proofs and stuff. I just liked the way that works out. :)

I highly recommend my photographer, Photography by Christos ...he has been absolutely amazing in every way!

We met him in August 2007 and were impressed by his customer service and beautiful work. He took our engagement photos and we LOVE them (check out my album). This past Sunday he was excellent at the wedding...showed up early, was respectul and professional yet funny, kept us all on time, talked us through a couple of glitches, was fast and effective, took all the photos we wanted and then some!

I can't wait to see the proofs!!!!!!!

I went with Jay from Duet!!! I just got my e-pics back and I must say after moaning, groaning, and whining for months on end about not choosing Lia from imagine, I am totally 100% satisfied and could not be happier =) Jays work is exquisite! I could not have asked for better pictures, and on top of that Jay was a blast to spend 2 hours with
