Photographer Recommendations

Hi!

I'm just about done with looking at DJ's and am heading to look at photographers.

Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers that are creative? (and hopefully not way too expensive) Yes, I want some of the 'normal' posed photos and candids, but I am looking for one that will take into account the surroundings and the people and come up with 'unique' or creative photo ideas/ poses.

I like Velvet. A woman I used to work with used Candid Like Life and I checked out their facebook page and they have fantastic photos as well. Really nicely done.

I'm using Patken. I think their prices are comparable to other photographers. I love the way they take photos.

blue daisy. mariann is amazing! she's not what i'd call lwo budget though, but if you can afford her definitely at least meet with her

Photography by Christos does the 'normal' photos but also does more creative photos if you give him the go-ahead to do so.

Plus, his customer service is awesome!! He was my favorite vendor from my wedding. He was easy and fun to work with.

You can see some of his photos from my wedding (and engagement shoot) in my album, but also check out his blog for more variety.

Tell him Anna & Peter recommended him to you

I'm using Patken also. I know several people who have used them...they do a great job!

We booked Lisa Marie Photography. for upcoming wedding. We wanted photos that captured more 'beauty' than the typical standard photos. You can sometimes tell when a photo is shot from a womens perspective than from a mans. (Not that there is anything wrong with male photographers!) Lisa was great!! We hit it off right from the firstmetting and she came highly recommended!!
