I am starting to make appts to see some photographers. I have the following so far on my list ot see. Can you girls recommend any others or any comments on the ones below?

Many girls on here has used patken, they do real nice work and the majority of them seem to be very pleased with them...Sherwood triart does good work too

I highly recommed The Velvet Studio. Bob does amazing work and gives reasonable prices. He told us he couldn't go lower with our quote but still was much lower than others. Patken is a large studio and is easy to get 'lost' in the bustle. That's how I felt.

If you're looking at Sherwood Triart you should also check out Franklin Square Photo. Same quality same price but you get more for your money!

12th night for photo. Absolute elegance for video he is not a vendor on here. Very nice and can work with the prices. I find when you use other vendors that may not be on here they are usually a little cheaper.

i really dont want to spend more than 5,000.. because i really dont have much more to spare...
ive met with duet, and they fit in my budget, but i dont want to book without talking to a few more people.

So far i have met with Verdi, Imagine Studios. Both are amazing. I have 2 more appointments one with Something in Blue tommorow, and one with Martin Willard (Martin Willard )
I really cant drag FH to more than 4 places. He just does not have the time to go with me. Hopefully we will have one of these 4 booked by the end of the week.

Personally I was turned off by Patken. I met a rep at the CLM tasting this past Wednesday and he really turned me and my mother off. He just made comments that were not very professional. Like some decisions I made about the wedding he called stupid ideas, etc. And the weirdest thing was that he claimed if I got married in December he could get me beautiful daylight photots until 6pm (hello, it's pitch black at 4:30 where I am on Long Island)?!? I just didnt really like him and I won't be seeing them.
