I've been reading a lot of different posts and was wondering if it is a bad idea to work with a company that specializes in both photo and video? I would think it would be easier and probably more cost effective. I don't want to keep running around to different vendors.

We went seperate. I think it definetely gets more expensive going seperate!
I went separate because it is costing me less.

Re: Photographer & Videographer together?
I booked both together. Definitely out of convenience. I wasn't too concerned about video, I wanted one but wasn't particular about it. I put a lot of effort into picking my photog, so I went with my gut without even seeing a sample. She showed me a sample after we signed the contract, only because I was curios, it looked great! She also cut us a deal

i'm using Imagine Studios for photo and video. They're a husband and wife team. I can't wait to work with them! I didn't really think I was going to do video at all, but then i was convinced that i'll regret it if i didn't.
We are also using Imagine Studios! I picked them because I loved Lia's photography, and then booked their simplest video package which far exceeded my expectations.
