Hey Ladies...the next thing on my list is finding a photographer. So far I have been shocked by what they are charging. I would love to hear quotes from you so that I can see an average price to make sure that I am not getting screwed. We of course are going to look at several and compare but there are just so many to weed through. Thanks...

We booked Chuck because of his photos, but also because he has a great personality (he is super easy to talk to and makes you feel really at ease). Plus his prices were much better than some of the other photographers we looked into (he isn't cheap but you get ALOT for your money)!

FH and I are bringing mom to Artisan on Monday evening so she can stay involved and see Chuck's work and also to probably book them as well. I was REALLY impressed with his work and his personality. I am very excited.

There are many popular photographers on this site
Imagine Duet Artisan 12th Night
Just to name a few, my only advice is this before you go in and get dazzled by all their presentations, set a realistic budget for this, in the scheme of things I found that many of them do similar things and some of the prices are so outrageous $6k for wedding pictures, not for this bride.
I only went to see one photographer in person, Glenmar, they were wonderful, didn't over sell, actually I told them how much I wanted to spend and they gave me a great package for $2K. I will probably add one extra thing so my total we be more like $2600
I looked at three or four of their albums, and they had the three things I wanted, intimate shots, formal shots and fun shots.. you can basically get those from any of the popular photographers but again keep your budget in mind and really try to narrow down exactly the type of look you want your memories to have.. that should help you most of all.

we are going with north isalnd photo, most of the places we looke at were chraging arount the same pirce, 1/2 of what the hall is costing us :) but you should go with who you feel comfprtable and confident with :)
