Hello All,
I am currently planning a wedding and was wondering if anyone had some reviews for photographers/DJs. I am not looking to spend a crazy amount on either so if you could help me out that would great-thank you!!!!!

For my DJ I used Absolute Entertainment. Their prices are very reasonable, very pleasant to work with and are excellent at what they do. I also used them for video because I like they way the coordinated everything together so the important moments weren't missed on video. You can check them and their pricing out at www.absolutedjs.com. Definitely worth meeting with.

As for photographers, I used Lisa Marie Photography in Rocky Point and all I can say is AMAZING! I absolutely loved not only her but her work. I think she did an amazing job, she was excellent to work with and I thought very reasonable with her pricing.

I'm not sure if you were looking for vendors in Nassau or Suffolk count but if their location doesn't matter to you I highly suggest checking them all out. My final products all came out fabulous!

For photography and video My sister used and I am using Golden Moments. They are two really awesome guys and are willing to work with you on the price. There have a photo only package and photo/video package depending on what you are looking for. I didnt know there were so many options for photos and video, two photographers or two videos whatever it is. But Pat goes over everything with you and gives his honest opinion to help.

My absolute favorite vendor is our photo/video; we're using Fade to Black, give the owner (Gil) a call he's awesome.

I'm also using Fade to Black for photo and video. Gil is the BEST to work with and very reasonable. I would definitely call him up.

I hear you about the money but my cousin spent less than me and she regrets it and wishes she had my photographer. Live and learn.

edited to add: i guess i should cast my vote for my photographer, shouldn't I? Check out GE Masana - worth every penny!

Already married and used Fade to Black for photo/video. Only saw teasers so far but am very pleased and enjoyed working with them on my wedding day. You don't realize how much time you will spend with your photographer... Jodi was a lot of fun and by the end of the night the fade to black team was like family. I really suggest going with her if you select Fade to Black. :)Haven't seen my video yet but Gil was a ton of fun to work with as well and I am super excited to see my DSLR video!
