I'm having a really difficult time choosing a photographer... So I figured I'd ask for a little advice....
Who was your first choice? And why?

I went with 12th night because I have only heard positive reviews on them and they were in my price range.
If I could have had anything I think I would have gone with Verdi.

Twelfth Night Photo because I loved their work since I first got engaged. They were reasonably priced and I heard nothing but raves.
If my budget was endless, I would have gone with Lina Jang or Willi Wong. But I love my pictures!

I went looking at too many imo opinion, and didnt click well with many- until Duet- thats who I went with- they are awesome, come highly recommended, their albums are beautiful, they were in our price range, they negotiate well
If i could have anyone and money was not even a thought in my mind i would have willi wong

I am using Pedro Sousa and Drew Anthony, I picked them because I loved how most of their work felt like a true representation of a wedding, and buy looking at it, it told you a story and you can see the day unfold. I saw almost 20 photographers and out of them I felt they were the best.

i only saw one photographer, and i went with him: willi wong. i luved his personality and i like his photojournalistic style. i am getting all film.

Dan Wagner - 1st and only photographer FH and I met with, booked him on the spot. he is very nice, has been in the business for over 20 yrs and it's his own business and he's very passionate about it.
In addition, we saw his work (both in person and online) and were very impressed with his eye.
He's also photographed celebrities and has done a ton of photo shoots for magazine ads.
I can tell you who I would NOT use... ADA Photography!!!! My best friend used them for her wedding a few weeks ago and she just got her proofs and there is no family portrait of her family or her husbands, no photo with her brother, no siblings photo, no photo with her grandma, no photo of the groom and his sister. I can go on and on! Needless to say, my friend is VERY upset!!
I am using Jovon in Brookville. I looked at Verdi too and they were excellent as well.

Artisan Photo Group - great work, good prices (you get alot for your $$$) and the sealer was the photographer (Chuck) has the best personality ever! I loved him and his work

Daniel S. Kreiger -- after meeting with a few photographers, we met Dan and immediately clicked. We were very impressed with his work and his experience, plus his prices were very reasonable.

We used Chuck Marcy from Chuck Marcy Photography because we wanted to know who our photographer was going to be when we booked (Chuck Marcy photographed our wedding himself) and we were looking for someone who would capture every detail of our day and get along very well with us, our families and our guests and Chuck did all that and more.
We also booked Dan Wagner, we really liked his work, we could tell he'd be easy to work with, and we were right! He did a great job the day of the wedding and I love my proofs and the enlargements came out beautiful! Im still waiting on my albums.
As somethingblu posted if it was in our budget we would've went with Willi wong or Lina Jang as well.

we saw a few photographers but i really liked creative compositions' work and thought they were really nice...
if i had known about willi wong at the time i would have booked him b/c my photographer was just as expensive...but i love willi's work!

we went with duval because of the recommendation of fh's best friend's father and one of my bm's close friends. we wanted to keep a photo/video package under $4000.
but if money was not an issue, we would have gone w/ duet, (but they didnt include parent albums in their package so they were out of our range.)

We went with 12th Nite - they are the BEST if you dont have a ton of $ to spare and are looking for EXCELLENT work!
