Photography Picture Location- HELP!!!

So I had my heart set on having my pictures taken at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport. i just called them for a permit and they told me they aren't allowing pictures to be taken there for 2010 and possibly 2011 because they are under major construction. This makes me very sad :(

Anyway- What other suggestions do you ladies have? I DEF DO NOT want a water or beach location. I am more into mansion type places or park places.... please help me out.
