We are stuck on photographers (I feel so behind - we wanted this booked months ago.)
How do you feel about digital photography vs. film? I've done some research & it's just made me more confused. What (or did) you use and why?
TIA!

Re: Photography Question
we did a mix because we really felt that digital sometimes cannot capture certain things ... the photography is almost tooooo perfect, tooo clear all the time ... sometimes a little out of focus is good, sometimes uncentered is good ... DH's hobby is photography and he loves real film so much better than digital. Although all digital can be very nice, I think a mix will capture everything you need.

Thanks, Lisa. That's what I was thinking. Going tonight to the one that Andrea's thinking about and they do mostly digital. I'll see what they say.

I certainly hope so! I know what you mean. I'm a procrastinator too, but she always makes me feel better.

Re: Photography Question
I wanted to go with someone who did all digital because I wante to make my own albums, so having all the digital files will make my life MUCH easier... and I can blow up which ever photo I want myself for a much cheaper price... some photos use a square film, which cannot be taken just anywhere to reproduce... so if I got film, I wouldnt have had as much freedom... I do agree that film adds a certain charicteristic to photos... but if you have a great photographer, he can more than make up for that in his compositions of his photographs...

Re: Photography Question
We are doing a combination of both. However, I didn't have a problem of using all digital. My photographer has a good understanding of both. FM me if you want more info.

Re: Photography Question
I saw photographer #5 last night and am still unsure about all digital versus film. Can anyone else tell me what they are doing or better yet, past brides will you please share your stories? I'm really getting stressed about this. Did I say getting stressed - I'm there!! So far this has been the worst part of wedding planning.
