photography question-with update at bottom

so i have a question about photography

i just got the gallery for the epics i took last week with lovemorephoto, and i love them-they're a verrryyyy dif. style than my photographer i already hired

my question is this-

i cant afford to hire them for the whole day as a 2nd photog, but i was thinking of asking the pricing for our pics at owg-it will be about an hour and a half-two hours..so i would have them and our orig. photog there for that time

do i ask my reg. photog first? do you think they'll have an issue with me wanting a 2nd photog?

check with your first photographer and in your contract if its allowed...

honestly even if your original photographer has an issue he has no say, YOUR paying

you could try asking lovemorephoto if they would come to OWG only but im not sure theyll do it, because then they wont be able to book anyone for that day and they wont be getting full price you know, im not sure doesnt hurt to ask

the thing is though alot of photographers want to be the sole photographer at the event so have the photo rights etc. bla bla bla....

Check your contract... mine states they can be the only one... but if they're ok with it go for it!!! Or see if you can do a 'day after' shoot or something with them... who wouldn't want another shot at getting wear their wedding dress!!

so i called patken, and they said they've never been asked anything like this before, so they have to call the owner and get back to me sometime this week..so hopefully they say yessss
