Photo/Video questions to ask

HI!

so i know this has probably been asked before, but FH and i are going to start looking into photogs and video soon and i wanted to prepare a list of questions to ask and a list of what we want included in our package.

So what are questions we should ask??

And what kinds of things should we ask to be included in our package??

i am clueless.

Thanks and Happy Monday!

Re: Photo/Video questions to ask

How many pics in your album and how big?
Parent albums?
Portraits?
Extra prints?
How many thank yous?
Do you get all of your proofs?
Do you get rights to all of your pics?
Can you have the pics on cd?
High resolution or not?
How many photographers?

Video
Is there full coverage of ceremony AND reception?
Are there wireless microphones?
How many chapters?
Is editing included?
Do I get raw footage?
Any special effects included?
Opening photo montage?
Can I put honeymoon photos in the video?
Are there digital titles & graphics?
Are there music overlays?
Do you add a recap ending?
How many DVDs or tapes do I get?

YOu'll also want to get a sense of the personality of the photographer. In addition to liking their work, you have to like them because they will be guiding you around for a big part of the day. And if you have a big family, say, you'll want someone who will seem like they will be nice yet able to take control to get everyone together.

You'll also want to ask how many of the proofs do they typically edit. Some I found edit all, others only edit some!

My package will also come with photo montages on dvd's

ask if you get the rights to photos, payment schedule - and refund/cancellation policies, also if they get sick who the replacement is, those are the most important things...
