Pick my appetizer..PLEASE!!!

Ladies, I need your help! I'm trying to finalize my menu, and I can't pick an appetizer! Which would you go with?

Here are the choices:

Jumbo shrimp and whole littleneck clams on the half shell prepared with garlic, lemon, white wine, butter and topped
with a savory garlic and oregano bread crumb garnished with lemon

Crespelle 'alla Ortolana'
Crepe stuffed with your choice of mushrooms, asparagus or broccoli, Ricotta filling served with sauce 'aurora'…
a blend of plum tomatoes, basil, sweet onion, prosciutto, sundried tomatoes with a touch of cream

Specially picked California figs draped with prosciutto di parma

Extra large pasta shells freshly stuffed with ricotta and Romano cheeses

I would personally go with the melon and prosciutto. Knowing Lombardi's the cocktail hour will have lots of pasta and eggplant. It is light and a yummy start. Just My Opinion

agree!

I love everything and you have a GREAT selection, but you have to keep in mind that some people are allergic to shellfish so that rules the seafood dishes out.. and I liked the stuffed artichoke, but it's messy (at least it was for me when my grandmother made it!!)
here would be my choice.. HTH

They all sound great but this one would get my vote.

If your not looking to do one that is an upgrade you can't go wrong with the pasta.

I would prefer seafood salad or the shrimp cocktail, but they all look good and I would happily eat any of them.

OMG!!! They're all great! I love seafood salad, so I would pick that, but does everyone attending the wedding like seafood? If not, I think the melon & prosciutto is safe. Good luck!!

I agree as well. If I were choosing for myself I would pick the eggplant rolatini though.

Do you have vegetarians? If there are a lot, you might want to do something meatless as thats the only appetizer choice.

I'm always partial to fruit salad. I think its a nice light start to a huge meal after a huge cocktail hour.

I agree..

Definitely pick something that everyone can actually eat , you know your guests best so if you know the majority prefer a certain type or if anyone is allergic to seafood you can easily narrow the choices down.

Also, ask if you can have two choices instead of one 'cus it's really hard to narrow it down. :)

I would choose this one....IMO

I would choose the melon and prosciutto...it would be something light, yet tasty.
