Picking a DJ

I m just about to start on the DJ's. I don't see too much of a difference between them - they all play the same music - so what happens now? I make appointments and interview them? how did you meet with your DJ and what did you ask him/her

My main focus when looking at DJs was the personality/vibe of the company and DJ. You want to feel like they will be upbeat and happy all night. Also, check out their equipment. Old speakers or whatever may not sound as good. And of course the price is always a factor.

I just really went on reputations and referrals, just ask people you know and girls on here for there referrals that is the best way to find a DJ and also someone who is in your price range.

I have to recommend our DJ...he did such a great job...literally ALL our firends and family are booking him this year for different parties

Like me I found my DJ because all of FH's cousins used him and then our friends are using him in 2 weeks, and everytime I have seen him he is great and his prices were alot cheaper than some of the other dj companies.

you have to see if your personalities click... you will find that they will differ in price...
check out Vinny from High Voltage... he's great and we booked him on the spot...
