Did anyone else have trouble deciding on a MOH or am I the only one?? I do not have a sister, and I am deciding between two options: 1 being my best friend from college and 2: my two other best friends who I met through my FH (one would be Maid one would be Matron)
I don’t know why I am so worried about it (they are all going to be in the BP regardless) but I’m not sure who to pick

Picking a MOH??
Go with the person or the people who are most excited and happy for you and your wedding day. I have been in too many weddings where the bride wishes she never asked that particular person to be the maid of honor. It is YOUR day and make sure whoever you pick to stand beside you, will not make the day about them (what they will not wear, what they will not pay for, or show up for).

Picking a MOH??
my 10 y/o sister is my MOH. I don't know, my other sister is 27, and my best friend were my other options but the more I thought about it the more I wanted my little sister to be my MOH . People looked at me as if I were nuts but bottom line its my wedding

Agree 100% - It's YOUR day! I had to make a tough decision with my Matron of Honor and can not believe she is not in my BP, however at the end of the day things ALWAYS have a way of working themselves out.

Picking a MOH??
I know people who have had more than 1 MOH..if they are all really important to you, you could always try that! But I would say whatever you feel is right, so go with your instinct

My MOH didn't want to hurt anyones feelings when she was going to pick who her MOH was so what she did was she waited and saw who was helping her the most or offering to help her the most and that was who she picked which ended up being me. Plus I had the fact that we have been friends for 24 years working in my favor. lol

Picking a MOH??
I almost made the mistake of choosing who was most excited for us at the time and I've known the shortest amount of time. That bm it's no longer in the bp! She left without even an examination! Im glad I thought about it long and hard and made a much better decision! My 2 child hood friends are my maid and matron. They have been a huge help to my mom as well with my shower and stuff! Even helping all the way from FL! I would say choose who will be there no matter what! U want happy for u and helpful!
