I'm in the process of booking a photographer...I think I'm going to look at ADA Studio, Jovon Photography, ProLine and Cassarino Studios. Do any of you know anything about any of these (price, packages etc). Any comments?? Good or bad...don't hold out!! Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know anything about any of the photographer's that you posted but if you do a Search, you'll find lots of info on each of them. Good luck!

Re: Picking a Photographer...help!!
Among the billion photographers I checked out, I did check out ADA and Cassarino. I loved the pictures with ADA, but the price was a little more than what I was looking to spend.. I had a bad experience there as far as the way the woman made me feel. I didn't make it to Cassarino, because I ended up booking with Duet.
Here's the link to my wedding proofs.. Enjoy.. I posted about 300!!!!MY WEDDING

Re: Picking a Photographer...help!!
When I was looking at photographers I went to visit JoVon and did not like them. There seemed to be nothing personal about it. Though I have to say that a lot of that had to do with the girl that sat with us. She was not the brightest bulb on the tree. For the amount of money they charge, I saw nothing special. I booked Spelman Studios who quoted us approximately the same price and I feel like I will get what I pay for with Spelman.

I also checked out alot of different places...JMO...Casserino's is a wedding factory!! Very rude and not at all interested in our business. We ended up going with Wedding Group One. The service was outstanding and their pictures were breathtaking! I also compared their pricing on the same package to everyone else's and they were much lower. one word of advice...don't take the first price given to you from anyone...the control is in your hands!!

Re: Picking a Photographer...help!!
Have you looked at Creative Compositions? They also do phenomenal work! They are located in Oyster Bay and so far they have been a pleasure to work with!
I'm in this stage of wedding planning and have seen a lot of photographers, but not the ones that you've noted. Duet was booked for my date-I loved their work and prices, Deju Vu on Jericho Turnpike - the staff was great and their prices are reasonable, Sherwood Triart in Hicksville - GORGOUS work-prices a little bit more, but they are worth it and very nice - I would check them out. I also saw Wedding Group One - their work was great, but there were a lot of extra fee's that I have never heard of - service fee-to show up!, they don't offer many thank you's in their promotion package and you have to pay extra for more, I liked them, they only take pictures for 6 hours, so if you wanted to do pictures early before the ceremony, you may need to pay for overtime....

I went to see ADA. It seems as if people either really loved or really hated ADA. Not sure if it was the photographer or the company or what, but I didn't want to be one of the ones that hated my pics. Their price was very affordable (started at like $1,500 for a small package). I met with like 10 photographers before I chose mine.
