I have a question though. At my second fitting I noticed some things that still needed to be fixed. They logged it and told me it would be done and to pick it up today. Can I try it on to make sure it was hemmed right this time? I'm afraid if I wait until the last minute, they might have forgot about it again.
I know usually they dont let you try on at pick up b/c its been steamed etc.

I feel I have to do the same thing on Friday. They are sewing my crinoline into the dress and I would like to see how it feels. I am sure they will allow you to, just be careful. They have to, you paid a lot of money for your dress you have to make sure it is perfect!! Let me know what happens.

I didnt have them sew my slip into my dress. Thats a good idea! I wish I would have thought of that!

I say try the dress on and if it needs to be steamed again they can do it...again! You don't want any surprises the day of when nothing can be done to change it....be firm!

I would try it on again. Either they can steam it again, or if you have a hand steamer, you can do it yourself. They don't wrinkle quite as easily as you may think, so it might even be fine after you try it on.

You should absolutely try it on again! Not sure if you watched that Bridezilla episode where she (can’t remember her name) put her dress on the day of her wedding and the beading was coming off and the dress was RIPPED!!!!!!

There was a small spot of something on it. I had them clean it before I left but otherwise perfect!

Good for you!! I am glad to hear it went well. I am going to try my dress on tomorrow night then pick it up Friday so she can steam it in between. I really have to try it on and see how the crinoline feels. I tell you it really hurt when it wasn't attached but she keeps telling me it will feel better when it is sewn into the dress. I hope so!! I can't wait!!

I'm confused as to what hurt? I have a crinoline slip too but it has a very soft material on the inside.

the string that would tie the crinoline skirt really hurt. They sewed it into the dress and I tried my dress on and it was like a different dress!!! It was awesome. I am so happy and so excited!!!!!
