I made a mock up today of the Cpieces I will be having. I saved a ton of money doing this! I got 12 mirror tiles for 17$ at home depot. I got the heart shaped glass bowls at walmart 1$ each. (12$ total)I got the glass stones at Michaels (1 bag for each c-piece) 4 bags for 3$ (9$ total) The fake rose petals are from Michaels also (16$ total for 4 small boxes, 110 petals each in a box)I just bought the candles to make the mockup, but they have 9 candles in a bag and the bag is 3$. The fist pic is w/ 2 candles in the bowl and the 2nd with 3 candles. Which looks better, 2 or 3 candles?
hmm OK 3 candles it is! Thanks for the input and compliments!

Are these for the cocktail tables or for the reception?

I think that is a great idea, but I have a question. Who sets those up for you? Does the hall set it up or do you ask someone who is family or a friend to do it. Sorry, but I am curious.

Re: pics of Cpieces I am making
It's for the reception. It's actually bigger than it looks, the mirrors are 1 ft square, and I plan or scattering rose petals on the table outside of the mirror. According to the hall the matrie'd will make sure it all gets set up. But I would not mind going there the day before and setting it up myself if I had to. It's only 12 of them (only 90 guests) and it's fun and quick to do. I may just do that, b/c I have favors too and w/ favors/place cards ect I think making them set it up would be asking too much? Then again I am paying lots of money right? I dunno, I have a while to figure it all out.

Very nice. Can I ask a question? Do the petals take away from the effect you are going for with the mirror? Meaning - don't they cut down on the reflection of the mirror and candle?

Lovely...definitely the three candles.
I would love to see how it looks without the petals.

Hmm...I will try it with no petals and see how it looks. I did not even think of that. The ribbon thing is a good idea too just to raise it off the table a little. I'll try the no petals thing tonight and try to post a pic.
very nice i am doing somethign similar but no mirror.

Re: pics of Cpieces I am making
I am using white and also opalecent white. Alot of the Hello Kitty items have spalshes of pastel colors like yellow, pink and blue, so I figure with all white there is no way that it will not match> like say if my theme color was hot pink...then all that stuff would not blend. My theme is Hello Kitty above all else. Everything is getting planned around that. (I'm crazy, this I know!)
