PICS of hair trial.... Now i'm unsure of what I want!

I had a hair trial today at Salon Montage in oceanside and gave my stylist a few pics of full high updo's with the barrel curls. It came out good, but i'm just not sure it's 'me' and makes me look... I don't know, really young? I've never had an updo done on me so maybe i'm just not used to it?

After a while I took it down and just took out the bobby pins and did a quick updo myself that's lower... I kinda like this look.

I just don't know now... opinions??

I really like the one that you had done!!! It is gorgeous! I have always been a firm believer that whenever you have an 'updo' you lokk younger bc you have that 'prom' feeling! But the day of, you will have your makeup done & it will look gorgeous!!!!

Both look great on you, but I like the first one best.

i like a lower up- do for you..but the part is perfect because the veil picture looks great

i feel like the higher one is more youthful- and it is also a very common look

I think the first hair style is very beautiful! I don't remember what your dress looks like, but you can achieve a real princess look with that hair style.

I feel that the lower style is a little more sophisticated...so it really depends on the look you are going for. Either way, you are going to be a beautiful bride!

I do like the lower, but how would you be able to wear your gorgeous tiara then? I think the high looks great with the tiara and veil incorporated. Once you have your makeup done you definitely won't look too young!

Thanks again girls, you are really helping me! My dress is a huge ballgown so originally I wanted the classic full updo but since i'm not 100% thrilled on how it looks on me, maybe I should go for another trial to compare...

Definitely the higher updo lifts up your whole appearance...I think the low arrangement looks too casual...you look beautiful in both though

Jess, I actually prefer the lower up-do on you. I honestly think the lower up-do (like a changion) is a little more elegant and older (but not too much older.) The stylist did an amazing job, so you'd have no problem switching the style if you wanted to.

Totally agree - the lower up-do is more elegant (IMO)

i like the first trial a lot, it's very pretty and i definitely dont' think it ages you in any way. the second one is also lovely if you want to go lower and simple. but with that veil and tiara i really do like the first one!

I am wearing a tiara with a low style, but I think my tiara is smaller. This is my trial tiara...my actual tiara is a little larger and my stylist said that she can just tease the hair in front a little higher. HTH!!

Hey date twin!! I think the trial came out great, your hair looks so nice up like that!! But it also looks good in that low bun that you did later, so either way you can't go wrong. If you feel more comfortable with it being low then go for it!!
