PICS of hair trial.... Now i'm unsure of what I want!

I had a hair trial today at Salon Montage in oceanside and gave my stylist a few pics of full high updo's with the barrel curls. It came out good, but i'm just not sure it's 'me' and makes me look... I don't know, really young? I've never had an updo done on me so maybe i'm just not used to it?

After a while I took it down and just took out the bobby pins and did a quick updo myself that's lower... I kinda like this look.

I just don't know now... opinions??

I like the high up-do on you, but I am know what you mean by looking young. I feel the same way about the high up-do on myself.

I really like the low up-do. The only problem is the head piece. I am not sure you will be able to see it, with the low updo. I would get another trial but, ask them to go slighty lower with the high updo. Maybe you would be happy with something in the middle of the two styles you like.

I agree the low may not show off your headpiece well but something in the middle of the two will. You look beautiful in both!

You look absolutely gorgeous. Especially the one with your vail and tiara. I would not change a thing.

this look is perfection!
Either way is going to look great and I dont think the updo is high at all....all the curls are in the back of your head not on top. Maybe have your hairdresser bring the curls a little lower..

Your hair looks great in both pictures - I dont think you can go wrong with either.

I have a question tho ...

I noticed you had your makeup trial with Mia and she did an incredible job. Is there a particular reason you didnt ask her to do your hair?

Yes, Mia is awesome! But she's not doing hair because I have 7 BM's plus my mom, his mom, flowergirl, grandmothers, etc... so we decided to go to a salon (which we've been going to for years) so a few girls can work on us at once.

Then we'll go back to the house to get makeup done by Mia. Only a few of us are getting makeup done.

I like the first hair style best on you - very pretty.
But you have to feel most comfortable with it and you want to be 'you' on your wedding day!

I like the lower one better...You have such a pretty face, and I think the higher updo distracts from your face a little. When I purchased my gown at a trunk show, I met the designer. He said that his philosophy about dressing brides is that you should notice the woman first and the gown second. I think it's the same thing with hair and make-up...You want everyone to notice your beautiful smiling face, not your hair-do first.

I saw these pics a few days ago and didn't repsond b/c I couldn't decide which style I like better. I still can't decide. I think they both look great
I know that's not helpful, but I guess if you don't like the first one maybe you're answer is to go with the 2nd, or at least to maybe have another trial and see if you can find something you LOVE..

Boston&NY - Thanks, that is a great philosophy! I think i'm leaning towards the lower 'do also, but ask me again in 10 mins and that might change.

LR5883 - Thanks for responding, I love everyone's input. I'm going to have another trial soon just so i'm sure I love my hairstyle.
