Many people have FMed me about the house and everyone wants to see pics so I decided to post them. I still have a lot to do...wood floors, granite, excerise room, and office is not done but hopefully by the end of March it will be.

its gorgeous! when did you move? we might move to florida (well we are going to move but it makes me feel better to say 'might' ) - my parents are there but i am still soooooo nervous about leaving NY how was it for you?

this is why i want to get the hell out of NY!!! You can get a gorgeous house for so much less in other states! I cant even find a detached house in Queens for under 600,000

Acutally wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. But Im saying that to soon maybe....b/c I acutally havent been there for a long time yet. Everytime I go I only stay a month before I come back. When we moved in we were only there two weeks before we had to come back to NY to get ready for the wedding. Being a city girl (born and raised in the BX, college on LI) I thought it was going to be so borring, dirt roads, ect. But its the exact opposite: very developed, great city, GREAT shopping, great nightlife. Of course you will miss your family but I they are always a flight away....I will jump on a plane in a heartbeat. Also the salaries are comparable to NY. It used to be that it wasnt worth the move because the salary wasnt decent down south but from what I see its very similar and if it is a difference you make it up because theres no state taxes (i.e. 40k without state taxes allows you to bring home about 6k more a year).
