I'm trying to figure out what kind of veil I want (and how I want to wear my hair)...one that hangs from the back, on top, tiara, etc.
I'd love to see pics of what everyone is planning on doing.

This is how I am wearing mine -- on top of my head and very full and poufy! My hair will be half up/half down though. Elbow with detachable cathedral, double-sided scattered crystals and pencil edging... I'm picking it up tomorrow!!!
ETA: I am wearing a tiara (if I ever find one ) and you should decide how you want to wear your hair FIRST and then you headpiece type, style and placement.
I'm wearing mine the same as JimmysBride with a tiara. My veil is a two-layer cathedral length which I'm taking off after our first dance.

I want to wear my hair up...kind of like this. My sister said I can use her headpiece...which is a comb with crystals, but the veil is attached. I wasn't sure if I wanted to wear the veil all day. Plus, I wanted the veil to have the edging...hers doesn't. Do you know if I can just have the 'veil' part replaced?

Thank you!! The pic is from a David's bridal ad, I believe but I ordered my veil from Barron's in Tri-County...
I'm not sure, but I don't think you can unattach the veil, but maybe you can have the edging added to it?

Here is a picture of mine, a friend and you can see the front in the mirror, and two of another friend that wore a cathedral length one at the church and a shorter one at the reception...
