Picture spots????????? close to Woodbury CC

I am getting married in Valley Stream and the reception is at the Woodbury CC. Any suggestions on public places I could go to in between to take pictures? I am too far from Westbury Gardens and the Planting Fields. Any beaches? that are nice

Not sure how close it is but how about CW Post campus. Fine Art showed some wedding photos they took there and it looked nice.

What about just taking pictures at the gardens of Woodbury CC? With the flowers and fountains, its beautiful...

I also live in VS and getting married at WCC...we are just taking the pictures there...it really is beautiful. Hey, there's always Mill Pond, Henrickson Park or the VS library! Not my top choices, but I've seen so many wedding parties this summer! CW post and Hofstra are also nice.

Hi..I was my best freind's maid of honor last week at woodbury country club. We used the Roslyn Duck Pond for pictures until we could get to WCC (there was another wedding) It was very pretty. I went to CW post and the campus is very beautiful so that is another option..good luck.

Do you need a permit to take pictures there? If yes where do you get it? I am closing in on my date only 2 weeks left. Thanks for the help.

Westbury Mansion and Gardens is beautiful!

A bit pricey but absolutely stunning! Not sure if that is too far from WCC. Good luck!

Roslyn Duck Pond

I believe you need a permit to take pictures at the Roslyn Duck Pond. You need to call the town of North Hempstead 516 327-3140. On weekends call 516 739 2345. I haven't called yet--it's on my to-do list. Good Luck!
