Pictures...

Does anyone know if it's very costly to print proofs?

I've heard that proof printing is a two-step (or more) process. I'm wondering if this process is a large portion of the amount of money you pay a photographer? OR Is this portion of a package the least expensive of the process?

Does anyone know or have any specific experience with this?

ok, no one asnwered you! i think it costs more because they make a 'negative' first. I just know the quality is better from the negative. why dont you try it with one first and see what happens?
