pictures before ceremony?

I can't decide what to do. FH and I are not religious, so we don't want to get married in a church. But if we do a ceremony at RH we would have to miss cocktail hour, and then still only have an hour for pics...I also don't really want to see him before the ceremony. I guess i want my cake and eat it too!!!
I am wondering what you girls are doing? or if you have any ideas would be much appreciated

We are doing the pictures before the ceremony because we do not want to miss the cocktail hour and miss the time celebrating with our friends and family.

However, at our venue we are going to do something special for the first time we see each other. So it will still be a special moment.

We are definitely doing them before the ceremony. Once we get hitched I want to have a great night with all the tedious stuff out of the way.

i want the 1st time FH sees me to be as im walking down the aisle in church. it would def save time to do pics b4 but i dont want to change the tradition

We did I was heisted about it but I am glad we did. Got to spend more time with our guess and 1,700 pics. I have to say it really didn't take away from the emotion you fell when seeing each other for the first time we both still cried.

I met with a photographer last night and I was so against having FH see me before the ceremony. I wanted him to get the full affect of me as I walked down the aisle.

We are getting married June 1, 2012 @ Chateau Briand and after talking to my photographer last night we are going to do pictures at Westbury Gardens.

The more and more I think about it the more it makes sense. I'll get a little time with FH before the ceremony and my pictures aren't all going to be of Chateau Briand.


She said that the photographers can capture the moment a lot better before the ceremony. As I flipped through her books and watched her video having them see us before isn't that bad and the PLUS is we get to go to our cocktail hour which is good because we extended it.

I have decided we are seeing eachother before
makes picture taking easier
and our photographer will capture the moment in a special way!!
