Pictures before Ceremony & Wedding Bands

This was a post from the Brides helping Brides board and it got me thinking...

If FH and you are taking pictures before the ceremony you won't be wearing your wedding bands.... What is everyone else doing?

I could be OK with it b/c i'll still be wearing my e-ring and I want that 'moment' when FH and i exchange vows/rings but the idea of FH bare during pictures is

I'm taking pics after the church but I would have never even thought of this! Hmm I mean could you use them to take pics with? and then give them back for the ceremony?

eeek - personally, i would take pics with the ring before the ceremony. seriously, what is the difference in 30+ minutes, right????? then you'll get to enjoy your cocktail hour.

otherwise, you can take all the pics w/ the bridal party beforehand and then take 10-15 minutes of pics of just the two of you with the ring afterwards. All the close-ups of your hands are usually with just you guys anyhow....hmmmm never had to think about it b/c i'm stuck getting married in an ugly church (not bitter or anything lol)....

if you do it before the ceremony then you can rationalize that he'll have worn it before (when you go look at them, when you get it from the jeweler, numerous times he probably tries it on without you knowing after you bring it home before the wedding!!!!) so it's not that huge of a deal i'd think!

Yea I know, i JUST noticed the orginal post of Formals before Ceremony. I made the post before I read it... opps, lol.

It's def a good question/thought. Before reading it on Brides helping Brides it didn't dawn on me now i'm like hmm..

I seriously laughed when I read this... No, doesn't sound bitter AT ALL!!! Did you want something outside and more low key? It's funny to see how our FH's have strong opinions when it comes to certain things..

I find it cute when FH comes up with suggestions, it shows he's putting thought into OUR wedding too.
