I was just wondering how many people are taking pictures with FH before or after the ceremony? I am torn on what to do. In one respect I want him to see me for the first time walking down the aisle, but then I think it might be easier to take pictures beforehand. I don't know!!!
I think it really depends if youre getting married at a church or your RH. usually there is a time gap between the church and the RH where you can take pictures. But in my case, IM gettting married at the RH right before the reception so there wouldnt be a gap in between to take my pics. I would end up having to miss my cocktail hour and some of my reception to take all the pics and I dont wanna do that so were gonna take pics beforehand. HTH

Because we are getting married at the RH, we are taking them before. I went back and forth about it for a while, but in the end, I want to go to cocktail hour.

We're taking pictures beforehand, just because in January there is going to be no sun after our ceremony at 5:30, plus every bride I know who has taken pics beforehand loves that they did, because they weren't so nervous walking down the aisle!
At first I didn't want him to see me before the ceremony but knowing that we don't have time between the ceremony and the reception we decided it was best to do it before the ceremony- however our photographer is going to set up something so that we 'surprise' each other.

We are doing after---we told the photographer that we want to be at our cocktail hour--so we scheduled enough time between the church and CH

I'm taking them after...but i'm a sentimenal and old-fashioned type of girl..so all of those little 'rules' are important to me, lol
We're getting married at our RH so we want to do pics ahead of time. Plus that way we can enjoy our cocktail hour and such!
After!!! I love the drama at the church when he will see me for the first time walking down the isle.
