We're going to take photos after the ceremony. We want to stick to the tradition of not having him see the dress until the ceremony, and we added a half hour to the cocktail hour, so that we could enjoy a full hour at least!![]()
we are taking pics before. i want to be able to enjoy my day and him seeing me before i walk down the aisle won't spoil anything since he will still have that look of being in love and happy to see me whether we take pics before or after the ceremony.
We took them before. Trust me you will miss so much if you try and do it after....it's way too hectic! I hesitated to this because I wanted to be traditional but to be honest, the best and most emotional part of the first day was when FH saw me for the first time. Everyone couldn't get over how it was done. We didn't see each other at all up until this point. FH sent the maitre d into my bridal suite to ask me to meet him outside by the gazebo where we were supposed to get married (it was too cold so we moved the ceremony inside). They brought our bridal party out there and lined them up guys facing girls down the aisle. My husband was at the end of the aisle with his back turned and our parents were on either side of him. My dad walked me down the aisle to him and then he turned around and started to cry. I actually loved this more than doing it in front of all our guests. It was so much more meaningful to me - I was a nervous wreck walking down the real aisle so I wouldn't have appreciated the moment as much. We loved that our closest friends and parents got to witness it. It was very private and perfect! Here's some pics from it:

Also- my FH was the best man at his brother's wedding and he cried so i will be VERY offended if he doesn't even get glassy eyed when he sees me! He'd better keep an onion in his pocket or something!![]()
We are doing after our ceremony which will be at the RH. I like the tradition as well :o)
we're taking pics after the ceremony. we made sure to have enough time between church and the reception hall.
