Pictures Question

I really dont like the Idea of pics while I am getting ready. Is there anyone else who feels this way? Should I do it because I might regret it later?

i do want pics of me getting ready, but i feel like it's totally fine if you don't....i think if you've looked at lots of wedding pictures and you still feel this way, then you probably wouldn't regret it.

I'd suggest at least having them done when your hair/makeup is all ready and you are putting on your dress and stuff. I've seen really nice moments in pictures of that time.

I'm going to have them taken while my hair is getting done but I already have makeup on, before I get my dress on, after I get it on.

But no pics of me sans makeup/without clothes on/etc

A lot of people have the photog come once the makeup and hair is done. You can do whatever you want! It's your day!

I'm starting hair and makeup ridic. early...so i dont think the photog. will be there then. But i'd like pics of me getting in my dress, etc. not like naked or anything. just putting on my shoes..that kinda thing

if you dont like any of them you dont need to use them in your album

I am going to a salon for my hair and makeup, so all of that will be done before my photog comes. I probably won't have many 'getting ready' pics either.

I'm not a big fan of the idea either. I think they'll start taking pics when I'm all ready. I actually didn't want them to come to my house at all, but my photog said they could get some pretty nice shots in the house or what not. I am soooooo not a picture person tho.

That's what I am doing too then going straight to the RH, so my pics will be on me dress putting on shoes and jewerly.

I am not doing pics of getting ready...too chaotic..I got s-kids...I am getting dressed at my RH. SO I am going to get pics of me getting in the dress.earrings, etc...like you...

That's EXACTLY what my friend did and it looked great in her pictures!

I didn't want it and so purposely had my photog come when I was supposed to be done. She got upstairs just as my second shoe was being put on.

I felt really strongly about this ... just my own personal preference! I don't feel that I missed out in any way.

Personally, I love the getting ready pics, but if you don't want them, just tell them that! If you haven't already booked your photog, save some money, and have them arrive after you've had your hair and make-up done.

I've seen it where the MOH or whoever 'fake' zips you up - just leave it a little bit undone and the photographer gets that shot.

Hair & makeup shots - you can also 'fake' them by like brushing your face!
