Piggybacking Monkeyluv..most embarassing moment in your adult life?

OK..... I read the previous post, but I couldn't think of anything from high school - EVERYTHING embarassed me in high school. But I do have some doozies that have occurred in the past few years (old age?).

I am a flight attendant and usually on my overnights I always try to hit the hotel gym at some point. Well, I was heading to the gate in Baltimore and realized that I'd forgotten my workout shorts. SOooOOo, I bought a pair of those cheapy boxers that they sell in the gift shops in the airport. I fly all day and get to Providence, Rhode Island that afternoon. I changed quickly in my room and head right to the gym.....

While I'm in the gym I notice that people keep looking at me, but I just figured maybe they were loving my 'I'm Crabby in Baltimore' shorts and I just went on running on the treadmill. After my workout I get in the elevator and hear snickering from the people behind me. I STILL don't think anything of it. Then I get to my room and catch a glimpse of myself in the closet mirror......

There was a big-@ss HOLE in the back of those cheap boxers. I mean the WHOLE seam in the @ss was gaping wide open. To add insult to injury, I was wearing a g-string (I've always loved the buttfloss) AND I have the J-Lo booty, so you know there was no floss to be seen..... I was mooning EVERYONE.

To this day, my old roommate ALWAYS brings up this story to embarrass me in front of people.

HAHAH OMG! At least it was in a hotel and you won't see those people again!

This story cracks me up now - but at the time I was mortified!!!

When I was 18, I decided to go get a waitressing job. So I am at a restuarant near my town on a first interview with one of the managers. We sat and talked first and everything was fine. So, then he takes me on a tour of the restuarant and they have a basement level room where they do private parties. So he's taking me down the PITCH BLACK stairs to the basement to show me the room and - you know it - just as he says 'watch your step' I miss the step and start falling down the stairs. It gets better - since he is walking down the stairs in front of me - I take him out on the way down and we both pretty much slide down the whole flight of stairs!!

Yes - I did get the job!!

Ooooh, I'm a little backwards, I posted my award winning adult embarrassing story on the other board, but I did just think of a high school zinger, so I'll just post it here (hope no one gets mad at me )...

First time skiing...Before we start, we're all standing around putting on our hats, gloves, etc. For some reason I am facing down the small incline in the lift area. Yep, you guessed it, I start to slide down it. Everyone is saying stop - what do you mean, stop? No one showed me how to stop!!! Anyway, I'm going fairly slowly, so I gently bump into my friend, but she is facing up the incline, so now we're 'hugging' with our skis jammed together, picking up speed and of course SCREAMING! At the bottom is the von Trapp family skiers all lined up in size order, all poles stuck upright in the snow, suiting up for a wonderful day on teh slopes...that is until my friend and I take them out!!!! It was like bowling!!!!! Now it's hilarious , but back then...

I'm sure I'm glad I live over here!! I don't think New York is big enough for the both of us...what with the crashing into things and stuff
