PILL question...

PILL question...

Okay... I just figured out that the way I'm going now, I will get my period on my honeymoon. . If I double up 2 months back to back (which I wanted to do this time, but I didn't realize I was out of my pill until it was too late ), my period will run smack into my wedding day!!!

What do I do!??!? I don't want it for either!

I'm waiting for a call back from her now. But I like the immediacy here. Don't you wish all of life's questions were answered as quickly as they are here?

i would definitely talk to your doctor... mine was so helpful with this! she also said she doesnt like skipping periods, she tries to move them instead...

I hate messing with that stuff too, but desparate times call for desparate messures! I would definitely talk to you Dr. but you can totally double up. It would be just like taking Sesonal, that BC pill that you take and you only get your period for 2 months (bascially you're taking the pill straight for like 6 months)

sarah, you are tooooooo funny

you can double even triple up...people do it all the time with and without their DR's advice...that's why they finally came up with a pill that is only 3 weeks instead of the silly week of 'fake' ones with other pills.

I hate this stuff. My Dr. (and FH) get slightly annoyed with me totally not trusting the effectiveness of the pill. My Dr. PROMISES me that I will not get pregnant. I still don't trust the whole situation and am ALWAYS paranoid. I get SO excited when I get my period! I'm crazy!!

nah....i get paranoid as well! i feel the slighest bit queasy and i'm like oh crap!!!! and then like an hour later, my friend shows up and i feel so

Can't you just double up one time? Because that would move your period back one week, i think. I am going away in august and figured out in february that i would have it for vacation. I took the pill for six weeks straight and it moved my period back one week so i will have it the week before i go away.
also, most of my friends who have done this and i had spotting during the month after we started doubling up and you don't want to deal with that at your wedding, so you should make sure you are on a normal schedule by then.

i wouldnt worry about it - i skipped three months when i went to italy and had no problems at all! i guess everyone is different though, so just be careful!
