PINK EYE!!!

What a start to 2009!

NYE I was supposed to stay over at FH's because we were going to a party over by him, but then when it started snowing I didn't think it was still going to go on. Last minute we decided to keep our plans, so I didn't pack, and had to throw all my stuff in my bags. Needless to say, I forgot both my eye makeup remover and my contact case.

So FMIL had an extra unused case she offered me, but did I take it? No. I had to be overtly polite and say I had my spare in my makeup bag I could use. Well I guess the solution in it had been sitting for too long, and now I look like I've been possessed by the devil! UGH...it's my own fault, but still! Thank god I have prescription eyedrops still from the spring that haven't expired from the last time I had a reaction to the solution.

I HATE pink eye!!
I had it a few years ago in BOTH eyes! It was a disaster! I had the weirdest crap exit my eyes.... sorry to be gross!

It should clear up in a few days! Feel better

UGHH! I had never had it until a year ago when FH and I had two weddings back to back - it looked like I was a boxer and was punched in the eye and I wore sunglasses most of the time (so people thought I was annoying) - meanwhile, I was just trying to hide my eye. It made me think - what the heck would I do if I got that on my wedding. arrghhh...

I KNOW...the thought crossed my mind just before too, and it was like great, something else to worry about. My sister had pink eye for her prom, luckily it cleared up enough by the day of...and my other sister had pink eye for at least one wedding this summer, but I think it was same as you, it was like 2 in one weekend. So I'm hoping to be the lucky sister! Luckily, this was my own stupid fault, and I usually only get contacts induced pink eye, so as long as I'm careful I should be ok.
