Pippy Sweets

Pippy Sweets

At first Diania never got back to me when I e-mailed her. She said she would and never did.

I recenlty e-mailed her again and after a while, she sent me some samples. So I have been e-mailing her about changes and no response!

Even when she did reply, she never answered all of my questions.
Has anyone ever expereinced this?

It seems like it takes so long just to get my invites in order. I am so aggravated!

So many brides rave about her, but the customer servcie has been poor

I don't want ot keep chasing her.

Anu advice?

Ugh I'm sorry you're going through this- it is SO frustrating. I haven't worked with her personally, but I have a vendor who is doing the exact same thing to me and it's really making me . For one thing, why commit yourself to a client and ignore them for weeks at a time? I get so tired of harrassing her...and she just probably hopes I'll go away. Yet she wants my business- I'm so confused!

Though I can't help, I definitely feel your pain!

I am VERY surprised at that. Diana is usually the most responsive vendor I have dealt with till this day. I am sure she is really busy around this time and it might take a little longer to respond. She also, does things in date order depending on when you are getting married. Maybe since your date is Oct. she did not get on it yet? Not saying that is an excuse, but I can't think of anything else.

I am having such a hard time finding a place for invites. I also had this problem with my slipper vendor. I have heard so many great things about some and then they ignore me

Thanks for listening (well reading).

im sorry youre going through this...I didnt use her but i was thinking about having her make my placecards but another bride told me she wasnt pleased with her placecards so i decided to keep looking and find someone else.

Maybe you could imply in your email that it is really difficult to reach her at times and re-email your unanswered questions to her again. Its not fair to you

I wish she would tell me so. I really like her work and have heard so many great things about her.

I guess I will give it one more shot.

I agree with Bari... I know Diana is doing a TON of invites for the LIW girls!! She hasn't even gotten to mine yet and I am in August! She is so so busy! I actually knew she was doing so many invites that I told her to hold off on mine for a month (this was last month) cause I wanted her to be able to give me the same attention she was able to give the other girls. You're in good hands! I promise you!!

It stinks when your in wedding mode and other people are not! Hopefully she will get back to you soon. If not start looking around. You probably want to get some stuff done, but keep in mind you have plenty of time!

Re: Pippy Sweets

I did not have Pippy's sweets as a vendor but I can tell you that I had a similar experience with the vendor I used for my invitations/menus/placecards, Sometimes it was hard to reach her and I would have to email her 2 times before I got a response....I think these people are very busy and I am sure it is hard for them to answer every single email and stuff but it is part of their job to answer email's within 24 hrs.
They really should stay on top of these things and it is very frustrating when you need answers and you can't get them....

Re: Pippy Sweets

Diana did my invites, placecards and church programs - I had no problems with her whatsoever and I was extremely pleased.

I know she works in date order because I contacted her in July 06 for invites for my February 07 wedding and she gave me some samples and once I picked what I liked she told me she wouldn't start working on them until October. My invites were all ready and done by the end of November for me to send out. Give her some time believe me she will get back to you!!!

She is another one I had a bad experience with. She took almost months to return my email and when she did she told me she was almost booked for my day she had two more spots and that was it. I told her what I wanted and she never answered me back.
I think they are all just so busy right now.

Rebecca has NEVER returned my emails and I emailed her a few times. I just thinks some of these vendors are just TOO busy, probably in part from the referrals on LIW and maybe they should start turning people away. I am using Pippy's Sweets and I am experiencing the same issues. She emails me saying she is going to work on my design and then I don't hear from her. Its been about two months since I told her I was ready to start the process. I'm not used to this kind of customer service and originally I wanted her to do my placecards and programs in addition to the invites but I am now reconsidering. I know she'll get it done and it'll look great but I'd like the invites done before last minute.

I'm currently working with Diana and she has been really busy with my design. I speak to her both by phone and by e-mail. Maybe because I was driving her nuts she needed a break. lol
I can totally tell you that I just got my sample and everyone is raving about it. You still have some time so I'm sure she's trying to accomodate the brides who are getting married in the next couple of months. I'm not saying it's an excuse. She is very responsive I usually stay up late so that's when I e-mail her the most. I get the quickest responses from 9pm on. As soon as I have some time I will post up my sample. Give her a shot. know you feel that this needs to be done right away but I will tell you this, She's so talented that it won't take too long to find the design you want. The printing part wont be a long process. I should get mine in 2 weeks. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. The samples she sent me were wonderful! That is part of why I feel upset.
