While in the hospital are pajamas or a nightgown more practical?

Re: PJs or nightgown?
I wore a button up shirts and flannel pants. I hate night gowns because they get all twisted. And since I had a c-section I was not in the position to be moving all around rearranging a nightgown!

I had a gown. Good thing too since the nurses came into clean me every night at like 3am, didnt have to deal with taking off pants at that time

I wore a nightgown/night shirt becuase I read it is most conventient for check up's and stuff. Most girls I saw in the hospital had on pj's.

I agree... nightgown definitely helps when they come to bring you ice, check up on you, etc.

If you are going to be breastfeeding - wear something easily accessible

I dont think it matters at all - whichever you are more comfy in. I like PJs but both times the first day I wore the hospital gown, then my own stuff.

I think I would be more comfortable in a nightgown, but that's just me.

Re: PJs or nightgown?
I wore a nightgown. After the c-section, it was unconfortable to have anything pressing on the incision.
