Place card question

Place card question

Does anyone eelse have to put the place cards in ABC order? My RH is making us do this and I just dont understand why?

I thought they were put in alphabetical order so the guests could find them easier.

I went to a wedding in which they were in table order and it was maddening! There was a big back up at the card table with people trying to find their name.

Yeah, this is the main reason I believe, that way the guests can find their names very quickly.

i didnt mean to sound sarcastic... i just truely thought all halls would do it in alphabetical order... how else would you find you find your name? i could just see the mass chaos going on if it wasnt in that order

hmm the place I used to work weddings at did it for them (yes I was the person alphabetizing them 20 minutes before the cocktail hour ) crap, I have to do this?

thats why i got the award at the 09 shower!!! ive been on my best behavior... its easy when we had someone else who was more blunt around here that made me look like a freakin angel
