our venue gives us place cards... so i guess it depends on if they are tented or not.
i'd rather not spend the extra $$ on place card holders.

I was going to do holders etc.....but I dont think I am going to now...just the ones the hall gives are fine .......

Yeah I thought it was so cute! It doubles as a favor although I'll probably do something else.
When I told my MOH I wanted to do this as a favor she shot me a look.
MOH: 'I don't think that's a good favor?'
Me: 'Why not it's a fall wedding it goes with the theme.'
MOH: 'Not everyone can eat them'
Me: 'It's not my fault you got veneers and don't have real teeth'
It wasn't a vicious conversation at all but I'm thinking of doing this and something else as a favor.... I'm not really a big fan a favors and usually don't take them home so maybe a donation and the candy apple place cards.

that's funny. well, i think it is a perfect favor! i LOVE candy apples and they remind me of when i was a kid. it is not something that adults typically get anymore, so i think ppl will like it. PLUS....all your friend has to do it is cut it up into pieces and then she can eat it.
