I'd love to go into Manhattan...but there's only 2 of us and we'd rather go in with a crowd. But MOST definetly...another time!

I do not know how fridays are..happy horu is good crazy donkey in farmingdale. 56th in farmingdale.

Mirage is in Westbury. I have been there tons of times. Never on a friday night though, only sat. But Sat's are usually pretty good. I haven't been there since the summer started though, so not sure if it will be as good since a lot of people head out to the hamptons and such. Bridgeview is open now, but I haven't been there in a long time. Last time I was there it was full of juice heads!

Thanks everyone - I'm usually a beer and bar stool kinda gal...but every once in a while I get the bug to boogie. I'll have to look into Mirage - is there a website?

Any more suggestions??

I was at Mirage last Friday.. or the Friday before? Big after work crowd. They had Gumba Johnny from KTU as the guest dj. Wasn't bad. I stayed til about 11 and then headed to Chelsea St. It's right on Merrick Ave, before Old Country Rd. (South of Old Country Rd).. near Fridays.. DH was working of course so once again was ladies night out! Chelsea is more bar like and Mirage is a club. I'm not big into clubs anymore but it was still kinda cool for an after work thing. Drink prices were great too! I think it's like 1/2 price drinks from 4 - 8. I think Chelsea St is the same. I live right near the both of them but I feel that Chelsea St has fallen off for some reason. I used to love going there. Too much of the 80s... ALL THE TIME! I love 80s music.. but not every night!

Oz (I don't know how it is in the summer or on a Friday)
56th Fighter Group is always happening on a Friday!!! (again, if it's gonna rain, you're screwed.)

56th is going to be very croweded tonight - even if it rains. I don't know why but they doubled the boncing staff begining this week.

The Donkey was crazy packed last Friday, and so was the Big Bamboo (I drive past them all on my way home from work)

I haven't been to Oz in a long time, so I can't help you there, but everyone has been raving about Mirage. It's on Merrick avenue in Westbury, just north of Stewart avenue (used to be Sprats on the Land)
