I want to go somewhere! away for like the weekend with my FH i want to go during memorial day weekend since it would be our 1000 day anniversary~
where can I go for 1-2days thats not that far?
i know you girls know alot of places =] any suggestions?

upstate! go to the roosevelt mansion it's beautiful! overlooking the hudson river.
or out to the wineries in LI

If you're going to stay overnight then: Poconos AC Mohegun Sun Jersey Shore (cape may is beautiful)

I love Newport, RI but that's kind of far for an overnight.
How about Spring Lake, NJ? It's not too far, has really cute B&Bs, great restaurants, etc.

FH and I went during Labor day to Mohegan Sun but stayed at a local hotel because Mohegan was too pricey and the next day we went to Mystic,CT it was fun and nice to get away for a little bit.

Its called 'The Spa at Norwich Inn' my mom went she said it was amazing!
New Paltz - the Mohonk Mountain House is supposedly gorgeous. And NP is a cute little town you can explore - there are some cute stores (my sister owns a store there!), restaurants and bars. AC Boston Mystic Poconos
