DH surprised me with tickets to a show in Boston in March. Where are the best places to stay that are affordable? It has been so long since we have been there and we are so excited to go and have fun! Thanks!

Re: Places to stay in Boston?
We stayed at a Holiday Inn in Brookline...which is not far from BU where my FBIL goes to school.
Boston is sooo awesome. We got to walk around there after moving my FI brother in and we were amazed about how clean it is!

Re: Places to stay in Boston?
My SIL is in Med school at Tufts so we go often and love it!!
We like to stay at the Marriot Long Wharf...it is right by the planetarium...and across the street from Thanial Hall. We love the location right on the water and it is pretty nice for a hotel in the city.
I am not sure what the prices are...but during an off time it shouldn't be too bad. We are going again this spring and staying there.
Have fun!!

I stayed in Brookline last year. It was either the Holiday or the Ramada. It was weird. There was an indoor pool on our floor & ther rooms were around it & our window loked out to it. Sort of like a Northeastern indoor Melrose place!
I've stayed in the Marriott Copley Square , I think , for work. That's a little $, but nice. It's kinda like staying in midtown Manhattan. The kind of place where they have business conferences.

That was the Holiday Inn Brookline... a little strange..that's where my FI and I saw OJ Simpson in the flesh eating the breakfast buffet

When my FI and I went we stayed in the Millenuim hotel. It was beautiful, and I was right in the middle of everything!

Re: Places to stay in Boston?
I would try to do a search on hotwire or priceline.com. You can get excellent prices for the coley marriott or sheraton right in the heart of boston. The wharf marriott is very pricey. You are better off staying in copley or by the prudential building. Boston is awesome. You must go to mike's pastry in the north end.
I highly recommend the Marriot Long Wharf. The Copley Plaza is very nice as well. If you are looking to save $$$, check out the Hampton INN in Revere. It's just outside of Boston and offers free shuttle to the 'T' - the subway system for Boston. If you like Italian Food, the North End is a must. FM me if you want specific restaurants.
